Our breeding service includes 24/7 access to exceptional veterinary care for your dam and her cria during their stay our farm. We consider your dam a member of our herd family throughout her time here. Our breeding fee covers the cost of the actual breeding to our herdsire, sixty days of boarding and an ultrasound confirmation of pregnancy before your dam is returned to your farm.

Dennis and Monica regularly attend breeding clinics to keep current on the latest information available. In addition, we sent our veterinarian to a two-day course at the Ohio State University Veterinary School for the annual Camelid symposium. We feel these are opportunities to increase the level of service we provide at a Suri Farm, ltd.

Some things that are available but not included in the breeding fee are extended stays at the farm charged at a daily rate, transportation to and from your farm and emergency veterinary care. It is important to note that if emergency vet care is necessary for your dam or cria, we will make every effort to contact you before that care is rendered. Let’s face it, we’ve sent our girls out for breedings in the past and we want to be kept apprised of their care constantly, especially in the event of an emergency.
